I need some help with turning my xbox one off

I know im going to sound stupid but i cant tern my xbox one off with the control it worked yesterday but now when i hold down the x button it just brings up snap i have reset it more than once looked through all the settings and fond nothing on it so if
there was an update or be being stupid i would really appreciate it if someone could help me

well i need help with my connection becuase i always try turning it off and turning back on then try the connection then i take the wireless off waiting for 30 secong and put it back on and waiting 30 again and nothing work becuase idk alot about box i just
know some stuff about xbox

Try fully powering down your Xbox One by pressing and holding your finger over the Xbox power button on the console until it shuts down.

Wait for the power supply light to turn orange then turn it back on.

Try your controller again, does it still bring up the snap programs or does it offer you the option to turn off your console?

You should probably go ahead and contact support and let them know what is going on since you just had it repaired. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us If you can't keep the console power on then
there must be a hardware issue.

I had that same error "...restricted privileges..." in Halo 3 once. It turned out that one my friends in the lobby had some parental settings that needed to be turned off. It happened while trying to play on user created maps. Hope this helps.

My Xbox One has been turning on 1 hour after I turn it off every time. Also when it is on, the Xbox screen is in a low brightness. I need help on how to stop that from happening.

Turns out it was somehow trying to connect to either the xbox one s or xbox series s consoles in my house for some reason. Turning them off fixed it.

Sidenote: In all my experiences with wireless xbox controllers (xbox 360, xbox one, xbox series x/s) the sync button needs to be held to be put into pairing mode (quarter ring rotating clockwise /flashing xbox logo), while the button on the console needs a single press, if it helps anyone.
