I need some help with my xbox account and xbox (beta) app

At this time, custom Gamerpictures are restricted for child accounts. If the age on your Xbox Live account is under 18, then unfortunately you will not be able to upload a custom Gamerpicture at this time. It is currently a beta feature as well. We have

I have error 0x405 when trying to get into Xbox App. Store also won't let me download the Xbox beta app for some reason. Says I need to try again later. Called 4MY-XBOX and they couldnt do anything to help me over 45 minutes... Kind of at my wit's end. Can't
delete Xbox app, etc...

Hi Assassin, Are you observing this issue with Xbox App, Xbox App (Beta) or both? If you are experiencing this issue with Xbox App (Beta), please use the "report a problem" with the beta app. This will provide some very helpful info for the developers to
investigate.

To further test, can you try downloading the "Xbox (Beta)" app from the store and see if you're able to log in there? That can help us further identify if we might need to look at your account or that app specifically.

If you just search "Xbox beta" in the store it'll come up with a seperate app from the default app.

UPDATE ->

So in order to successfully log into the Xbox (beta) app, and not get a black app screen after doing so, you need to go and log into the Xbox Console Companion app first. Doing so will giver you a Windows 10 notification saying you are signed into Xbox Live,
and from there you can go launch the Xbox (beta) app, sign in, and still be able to use the app.

That said, I have a "Gaming" admin account as well as my regular "User" admin account that I use for different purposes on my computer. On the Gaming account, the Xbox (beta) app storage location drop down is blank and will only store to wherever the default
APP storage is set to use in W10 settings (response below outlines how to change this). Where-as if I go into the same Xbox (beta) storage settings under my user computer account, it will display every drive in a drop-down and I can select them all - it will
still inform that I need to go change the W10 storage setting default location though.
