    I need help-Xbox One Dashboard speed and connectivity to Xbox live troubles.


    every time I turn my Xbox on it is extremely slow and frustrating! It will take minutes to load into certain areas on the dashboard and I can't connect to Xbox live or my wifi and when I try to sign in it says, that the sign in has taken too long to start.

    The dashboard is just really slow I've done everything like restarting my Xbox and unplugging the cords but nothing seems to work. Someone please help I'm getting stressed out I need help-Xbox One Dashboard speed and connectivity to Xbox live troubles. :p .

    Microsoft fix the Xbox or you lose customers (and credibility)

    My xbox 360 out performs my xbox one on connectivity and I never get dropped from party chats

    And my ps4 also out performs my xbox one I have fibre optic fast broadband so my net speed is not an issue my nat is also open so my conclusion is Microsoft have tried to be far to clever for there own good with
    the xbox one dashboard all they need to do is make a better version of the xbox 360s dashboard for the xbox one Microsoft need to make xbox one a gaming 1st Console and the apps and other media need a separate window
    I personally prefer xbox 360s dashboard so simple and easy to navigate

    Forver Being Kicked Out Of Ghosts On XBox One

    After an hour on the live chat the Xbox one "Connectivity expert" has informed me I need a speed of 3.0mb t play games on the xbox one. I should contact my provider to see if they can give me a wider band width!!!!!!!! Surely they are taking the mick............

    Here are some trouble shooting steps for connection issues. Make sure your speeds are at 3.5mbps download speed

    and .5 upload speed. These are the requirements to connect to the live services.

    If you are having connection speed troubles, there won't be a lot we can do except optimize your current connection.

    I would suggest checking out our
    Xbox LIVE Connection Help     support article, as there are some nifty details in their to help with said connection.

    I would also recommend going to speedtest.net, and letting us know your actual connection speed.

    Sorry to hear it. A certain speed is required to be able to play and connect properly to Xbox Live. If you're having trouble connecting then it's probably due to the fact that your hotspot speed has been throttled.

    If at all possible try to get connected to an alternate internet source. Perhaps see if you can connect temporarily to a friends internet to download what you need.

    It sounds like the problem could be internet speed based. Judging by what you're saying, the xbox is taking a long time to download data for the dashboard - such as adverts, marketplace information and friend data - as opposed to anything else.

    support.xbox.com/.../performance should be able to guide you through trouble shooting your connection, and enable you to find out if there are any problems with
    your settings.
