I need help with Xbox one I just bought

Hi I just bought an xbox one from someone online that was selling their sons xbox. Once i got home i found out the xbox was banned i cant play any games or sign in. The person i bought it from didnt inform me of any of this. After trying to contact the
prevous owner of the console the block me from messaging them. I really need help fixing this.

So is it permantely banned if it just say the console is banned from xbox live

Console bans are usually permanent. There is no way to have them reversed. If you bought through a place like ebay, you may be able to file a claim through them since the seller will not allow you to contact them.

Hi, there is nothing that can be done, once a console is banned that is it. Your only option is to demand your money back.

They block me from contacting them when i tried to ask them what does banned mean this is my first xbox one. Is it permanent or temperary because at this point i cant get my money back there has to be another way
