I need help with linking my ps5 to Microsoft account

You shouldn’t need a new Xbox account if you already have a Microsoft one. Are you sure you didn't connect a PS5 account to this same Microsoft account previously? That has been known to cause a bit of confusion.

Make sure you’re signed into the correct Microsoft account and entering the right code for Forza Horizon. Try logging out of your Microsoft account on other devices and then retrying.
