I need help with an update

Please help me!

I was testing an HD on my Xbox360 and it gave problem.

Plugged the HD and it worked, nice; Then I transferred everything from the pendrive to HD because he would stay there, transferred everything right and then I took the pendrive, Then the Xbox restarted on time and when he came back he asked for update. I tried
to update again and nothing happens, factory restore nothing happens, I tried to update by Live and it says that it does not have enough space (I've tried all the USB drives from here, they are recognized but for update it is not recognized).

The Xbox is up to date, it runs games that ran before I updated the Dashboard. He looks like the new Dashboard, but says he's not up to date. The Xbox was stopped and no one was playing for a few years, I bought new games and not all of them worked. Some
asked for updates and I updated them.

I tried the sequence that does in the area of "transfer" and even then speaks that it does not have space.

All new consoles need an update,mostly because you need to most recent dashboard,store etc.

How long it takes depends on your broadband speed.

In my experience updates always get to about 75% then seem to take a while to finish the last 25%. It's also possible that there's a lot of new consoles trying to update today so that may slow the process down a bit.

I just got my new xbox one s out of the box and was wondering why its got an update if its brand new and how long does it take? Made several attempts but update wont finish. Is there something that I need to know to do so it will finish?
