I need help there is a problem with my account

I added a friend called [Mod Removed] and I then I deleted him as a friend then I blocked him on my Xbox one and now he is blocked and not my friend but everytime he comes online his name pops up on my screen saying he is online when he
is removed as my friend and he is blocked and I don't know why this is happening. I have cleared the cache and I have removed my profile and downloaded a fresh version of my account but it still didn't fix it and I don't know what to do as he isn't my friend,
he is blocked yet he still pops up in the little window saying hes online and this is not right. Please I need this to be fixed.

If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted
to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog.

 

Hey there, sounds like you might have them on your favourites list if a notification pops up when they're online:

support.xbox.com/.../add-friend-to-favorites

I believe if they're not in your favourites, then you shouldn't be seeing a notification for them.

 

I have never added him as a favorite though and I have just checked and there is no one in there and he still pops up every time hes online and I don't know how to fi this as I have blocked him but he still pops up.

 

I just have to confirm that this indeed on the Xbox One console? Also, do all your other friends have pop up notifications when coming online? Because as per the following link, I don't believe that's a feature

Choose which pop-up notifications you want to see. You can individually enable or disable the following notifications:

•Skype

•Messaging

•Party

•Gaming & system

•Sign-in & broadcast

Though if that is the case, I think official Xbox support will need to look into this one.

 

Yes under Sign in and broadcast you can have it so your friends show up when they come online and his gamertag still pops up and he isn't on my account anywhere and this is on the Xbox One this is happening

Have you tried to unblock this person and check to see if they are in your favourites, or on your friends list, somehow?

I can only think it is some kind of bug, it even happens on Facebook. Sometimes when you block someone, you still get notifications from them. It is annoying and does drive you crazy.

If you can't find them, try blocking them again. This may also resolve the problem. If it doesn't, then you may need to contact Xbox Support to have them look into your account. They may be able to identify the problem, and escalate it to product if they
need to.

By Phone and it isn't fixed but the issue has been forwarded to high management as it is not just me having this issue and they said it should be fixed in the coming weeks.
