Discus and support I need help resolving network/console issues in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Every time I try to connect back to my wifi, my Xbox will restart in the middle of the process of connecting to my wif.     Every time I try to connect back to my wifi, my Xbox will restart in the middle of the process of connecting to my wif. I need help resolving this issue.

    Cloud storage not working...again.

    It is working for me. I suggest you call xbox support to get your issue resolved. I always call them whenever I have trouble with my xbox live and they are really helpful. Logging and out then log in back usually resolves your issue.

    Party Chat Not Working

    I have had the same issue and resolved it this way:
    Go to settings > network > test MP connection
    Once I checked this I got some notification about the IP settings and did the following-
    Set the IP Address to Auto
    Set the DNS to auto
    Set the last option, i think it was secondary MAC address, to clear.
    Restart the console and my issues were all good and I was able to connect without anymore issues.

    The issue is something with the secondary address limiting connectivity. As long as it is clear these problems should not exist and you should be able to enjoy chat with friends. Afterwards I had to set my chat not to occur through the kinect but that is easy to do. Go to kinect and uncheck the box about chat via Kinect.

    Do you have Time Warner Cable, and is your Gateway a TC8717T or TC8715D? If so the steps below seem to resolve others with this same problem.

    1.Open a web browser.

    2.Log into the router by entering the default gateway into the address bar of the internet browser. (Example http://192.168.0.1/ )

    3.The gateway will then prompt for a user name and password. The default is the user name “admin” and the password is “password”.

    4.From the menu on the left select Gateway.

    5.From the submenu on the left select Connection.

    6.From the next submenu select WiFi.

    7.Under Private WiFi Network select Edit on the Network you wan to use.

    8.Select the "Show More Security Options" (allow the pop up)

    9.Select WPA TKIP (about the 6th option from the bottom)

    10. Press Apply. (confirm the prompt about WPS no one used that and it is kind of insecure)

    11. Select Save.

    Hey KerrMorrison,

    Thanks for keeping us updated. If the troubleshooting that we provided did not resolve the issue, the console will need to be repaired. It appears as though the network adapter in the console needs to be repaired. You can continue to use the Ethernet
    cable to connect your console to the network. However, you will need to
    send the console in for a repair
    to get it to connect to a wireless network. We hope this information helps KerrMorrison!
