Xbox one can't connect to wifi

So my WiFi has been working for me for the past year or so, then all of a sudden, my xbox cannot connect to it. All of my other devices are able to connect to the WiFi, but not my xbox. When I went to a place with different wifi and tried to connect it,
it could. It could even connect to my hotspot. Just not my original wifi that everyone else can connect to. Please help.

HI all,

Currently I have a problem with my Xbox one console. Since thursday it isn't able to connect to my wifi. All my other devices however can connect with my wifi. The name and password is correct (I checked when I disconnected my phone from wifi and connected
again). I also disconnected the power for a minute and connected it again but to no avail. can someone help me?

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down. After that unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes.

During this time power cycle your modem/router by unplugging it for 10 seconds.

Just lag, I was suffering from this last night in a good few games.The worst is when it freezes for a few seconds then all of a sudden you're respawning, seems dodgy at the time but it's just the garbage way activision runs their online service.

I actually do use my 360 on my X1 input. There is a bit of lag and I probably wouldn't suggest it if you are heavy into shooters on 360. But I played GTA Online with my buddy last night using the X1 "TV" input to play through and the lag was minimal. On
a game like that, it was ok. So I only warn against it if you need that instant reaction in CoD or something. I use standby also.

Mine is Xbox one and it just started doing this today ont GTA 5. How come it all the sudden prevents you from playing? I don't need to be online or name my Xbox home or whatever to play. Well, I shouldn't have to.

Ive been getting the same thing all of sudden happen last night. Dont know what to do havent had a problem at all until now...i can get on XBL but playing a game like 2K which requires to be lag free when attempting a shot is very frustrating.
