I need help I just joined live gold and I can't sign in

you see someone hacked my email years ago and I forgot all about it , and days ago I joined LIVE GOLD with the same email and all good, days later I can't sign in .... and the email was hacked so I don't have the password...

i cant sign in!!! help!!

ok, so a while back LIVE sent me a message over xbox live and said that i needed to enter in a security code for my account so no one else could sign in to it. i ignored it. a few days ago i was at my friends house and i couldnt download my account. an error code popped up. now when i try to sign in to xbox live on my computer, it makes me go through all this crap. my email hooked up to xbox live is hotmail and it is microsoft too. i have to enter that stuff in my hotmail account too! Help!

If your email is through a 3rd party, like Gmail or Yahoo!, then you will want to reach out to them to gain control of your account again. If it's through Microsoft, like an Outlook or Hotmail email, then you will want to go through the process of recovering
your account through the
Microsoft Account site. You will want to put in your email there, and then follow the prompts for forgetting your password.

Once you have full control over your email, then we can dig into any other issues with signing in to your profile. Let me know how to goes!

Sorry that you feel this way. I will try and assist you in how to join Xbox LIVE (and Gold if wanted). You can join Xbox LIVE Gold (or you can simply choose to have a free, silver, account) by viewing the
Join Xbox LIVE Gold page of which will then take you to sign up and make an account.

Hi MrLambent. You cant remove a credit card you used to buy gold until your subscriptions ends, or until you replace the card. Your can turn your auto renewal off, and wait until your subscription ends, then remove the card, or you can replace the current
card with another valid payment option, then remove said card. Here are more detailed instructions on removing a payment option. If you are still having problems, let us know and we will continue working to fix the issue!!
