As far as I understand, it's only possible to transfer your GTA Online profile between an Xbox One console and an Xbox Series console, and between a Playstation 4 console and a Playstation 5 console. In other words, it can only be done between the previous generation version of the game and the new generation version within the same console family.

However, I recommend contacting Rockstar Games Support directly via the following link to inquire if there's any way to achieve what you desire, as only they can confirm it since they handle this process, not Xbox:

Hi, my Xbox Series S is connected to WiFi but I will try directly connecting it to my router. My games were installed directly to the Xbox Series S but I just bought a external SSD drive 5 minutes ago to move everything so I can have more room and incase i needed to reset my Xbox. Let's see if those changes will help. Otherwise I have nothing else connected to my Xbox Series S. I have no mobile hotspot currently.

How is the xbox one boring?

The xbox one version of GTA V Online has more going on,better visuals etc & is a far better experience than the 360 version.

The xbox 360 is an old console now & with the Series X/S & PS5 versions of GTA V coming out there's no point in keeping the old & outdated 360 version going.

As the others have mentioned,it's not cost effective.

If you want to carry on playing GTA V online then you'll either need a xbox one or a series x/s.

So if I'm playing on an xbox series x and my friends on a xbox series s I can not play gta 5 online with them
