I need help from a really experienced person dealing with HDMI conversion

I have a brand new ASUS monitor with only VGA and DV/I input. Also my sources of audio are 3.5mm on my monitor and my 360 turtle beaches which have RCA(already have the headset adapter btw)

Would something like this, be all that I need?

The reason I ask is because I'm unsure exactly if that cord is converting the digital audio from the HDMI to Analog and will that 3.5 to RCA splitter work with my Turtle Beaches considering it's analog and the hdmi is digital.. again, is that cord converting?
or do I need something else? Someone with tech knowledge please help

error code 80190864 it will not let me upgrade to x box gold every time it comes up with that error code someone help !

It's all I could really think of. I don't really know all the options for hdmi cable conversions... if I even said that right. lol

Hi buddy. That cable would work for the video but not the audio. But then all you'd need for that is a straight HDMI to DVI cable.

In order to get the audio from the HDMI, you'd need an HDMI Audio Extractor, something like this:

That will convert the audio into analogue for you and will work with both the monitor and your TB's.

Yeah nothing is working right. Plus my conversations keep getting deleted on their own and it's really annoying, especially when you have a message from the person but you can't even see it because your entire conversation gets deleted

I personally really enjoy Halo Waypoint. I think the stat tracking is just fine for my needs, and I really enjoy the interface and the way they have things laid out.

Yeah, it took them a while to get files up, but everything you could need from Bungie.net is on Halo Waypoint now. Except... nameplates and film conversions. But at least 343 give you a full 24 slot fileshare!

I too have a Samsung TV though I have never experienced this issue before personally. You could try unplugging the HDMI cable from both the console and the TV and reconnect them. Try another HDMI port on the TV or if you have a spare HDMI cable you could
try using that. Just some ideas you can try to pin point the issue and to resolve. Please let us know if any of this helped.
