I need help downloading profile after all data wiped from my xbox 360

I came home today and turned on my xbox 30 and all my data was gone from my xbox 360. I had to try and download my profile again so when I did that it said I had to do an update. It would not let me do the update because it said their wasn't enough space
on my hard drive. Everything was gone but it still made me format the hard drive. Once I did that it let me complete the update. At that point I tried to download my xbox live profile again but it would not let me. I had changed my password on the xbox
live site from my laptop since I could not remember the old password(i had autosaved it). My xbox 360 said my password was incorrect, but i went back to the xbox live site on the laptop and used the same password and it let me in. When I go to the initial
setup menu and enter my xbox live sign in and password it tells me that

"The email address or password you entered didn't work. Try a different one, or use your app password if you set up two-step verification. You use your email address and password to sign in to:

Hotmail or Live.com

Xbox.com"

When i just try to download profile after hitting the xbox button on the controller and downloading profile, after i enter my information it says "that password didn't work. Make sure your password is between 6 and 16 characters, or use your app password
if you set up two-verification. Visit xbox.com/forgot for help.

Deleting downloaded profile?

I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

I lost all profiles and saved games on my XBOX 360 slim.
I am willing to pay for support to help me get it all back.



SYSTEM:
Xbox 360 Slim.
A couple years ago I replaced the original HDD with a 500GB hard drive.
System has been working fine for years.
I do not have a cloud account, nor a current paid for subscription of any kind to MS.

PROBLEM:
I know I should have left well enough alone, but..... system has been a little eratic lately, not always booting up on the first attempt... so i was worried I might loose my hard made minecraft world, and my kids other games.
I copied the Minecraft and profile data to the internal 2 something GB storage, using the Xbox 360 transfer data comand.
It said it completed successful transfer of some 90 odd items.
I then went to pay a minecraft game on the internal storage and no game, and no profile info.
I then told the Xbox to copy it all back to the hard drive, and it failed after just a few items.
Now I can not see any of my profiles, nor any of my games. I do believe both devices show a progress bar with data on the drives, but the storage menu shows all 0's for profiles, games, etc...

CURRENT:
I have not let the xbox do anything else. I didn't recover or download my profiles from MS.
I have pulled the drive and begun to examine the contents of the drive using FATXplorer.
I am an IT and Windows guy. I know computers, and I am well versed in files systems, partitions, etc...
BUT I do not know XBOX 360 file system specifics, nor what might have happened to loose everything doing what I did.
I do believe the data is still on the hard drive, I just need to know how to recover it.

The FIRST step should be a save of what I have onto another HDD or System.
Then recovery attempts to get the data back.
I will be the smart hands, you guide me on what to do.
I am not wanting to rush into a solution, as I want to be careful and make sure I do NOT loose any data. But I also am not looking to take weeks to get this done.
YOU should be VERY experienced with the xbox 360 file system, and knowledgeable about file recovery concepts and principles!!!

You should just go to settings and then click on system then storage then you click Y then clear you systems cache and then turn your Xbox off then on then go to download profile then see if it will work
