Its good for all the free games every month if you don't own them. But then you have to always have a gold subscription for this. Personally, I think it's not worth if you don't play online, you have the free games (which I normally do) and say PC is your
main platform but that is just me. However I do actually have xbox live gold and always will.

Absolutely worth it for three simple facts. First and foremost you'll need it for playing games online whether it be with strangers or friends. Second, it provides you with free games each month which bulks up your library pretty quick. Lastly, you'll
receive additional discounts in the Xbox store for being a Gold member

I think it is definitely worth it. The experience of multiplayer online is critical and when you factor in the benefits of Deals with Gold and Games with Gold you really get a lot of return for your investment.

there are a lot of benefits to Xbox live gold, such as game pass and free games, also you get some great deals on some games, and can pay less the price too on their specials.

My thoughts on it...

Xbox Live has always been the most solid console gaming network, and with that comes a cost.

You get 4 free games every month, some are better than others (or some people like/dislike certain ones).

If you purchase digital games on sale, you will often get an additional discount on them.

Usually a less toxic player base due to everything not being free or throw away accounts.

Just to add, game pass does require a gold subscription as well and does not include one.

Also if price is an issue, it's much cheaper to buy prepaid subscription cards from a retailer. As it gets closer to Christmas you can usually find some great deals. You can also get it for free from the Microsoft Rewards program.

I think the other Ambassadors made some great points. I think the deals and gold games per month are a great value. If you also sign up for GamePass you get some real quality games. It's going to come down to your preference and play style in the end though.
