you cannot delete your account. you can cancel your subscription by calling customer support and having them cancel it. when they do that they can also remove the credit card from the account. then your account will be silver instead of gold and it will
no longer have a credit card attached to it. you cannot delete it from your hard drive but the account itself will still exist on the xbl servers. if removing your credit card from the account is what you want then you will need to call in and hav ethe subscription
cancelled first then have the credit card removed. that is the only way.

You do not need to be Silver to remove credit cards from accounts. If the subscription has a payment method registered to it, it will need to be cancelled or expire first before you can remove it. However any cards not attached can be removed. You could
just use the Webchat service which is 24/7 if you wish to remove your card.

carfull when cancel a credit card if there is any time left on your microsoft account they will remove it and not reimburse you. and they wont always inform you that if you remove your credit card number you forfeit your remaining xbox time
