I must admit this because it has just hit me!

Well it has always been there in my heart of heart for fps. It took years to get used to but I did. I hated online console shooters for a long time but I forced cod on me and I like it. I like certain titles and fps shooters like RSV 1 WAS MY LIFE IN 2006
2007. IT got me onto fps console gaming hard core. But with all these next gen titles I am realizing I am not a Destiny and TF gamer. All these next gen games are not my cup of tea. I guess I shall admit that I am a cod guy style of gameplay. I want to shoot
humans, not robots, tanks, monsters, aliens, and mutants. You know the basic stuff you kill that's what I like.

Well then good news! There will still be another Call of Duty every year, and in about 4 years we'll have another Rainbow Six game. + Whatever military shooters are released along the way.

To all you guys on here I also apologise for being a TF debby downer. It has been tough accepting and admiring to myself that I just don't do space monsters and bots. Game is fun and amazing but did not give me that fps high. I was disappointed. Hopefully
Respawn creates what I like hopefully.

 

I feel ya man. Although I got my start back in console gaming with Ghost Recon (thats where my heart is) I have never really been able to get in to these types of games either. Gears of War has been the exception (Chainsaws and shotguns hooked me).

 

Respawn will likely branch out from FPS after Titanfall. It's a market that has two clear competitors, and no matter how well Titanfall does, it will still come down to Call of Duty and Battlefield at the end of the year. This is why we need games like Titanfall,
Destiny, and Battlefront. They give other devs hope of being able to throw their hat in the ring. Trying to come up with new FPS ideas while balancing the demands of 'change but not too much change' from the players must be hell.

 

I'm not trying to take this off topic but what is Battlefront? Are you talking about the Star Wars game?

 

Yup. I love shooters, both first and third person, and I want more adventurous ones to start popping up. Few things match the scale of Star Wars.

 

Virtual reality gaming. Yup a 2000 dollar rig and games that allow me to feel as I play. That's what I want and have been wanting for 21 years.

 

...and yet there hasn't be one word regarding Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare? You have to remember, it's a shooter too - and pretty darn good one at that!

 

I like Plants vs Zombies, but in an ironic kind of way I find it too hard, especially when you are on the zombie team.

 

I was going to dl it yesterday afternoon.

 

Not hard at all if you have a good team that knows what their doing Most of the times I played Classic G&G and Classic Team Vanquish the zombies won. I'll admit that those modes regular do give the plants a slight advantage with all their upgrades.

If anyone here is on the fence about this game, DL it, very addicting and fun plus free DLC's.

Now back on topic, I like TF and have fun playing it but only if I'm with some friends. If my main ones are not online I just go to PvZ.
