I moved my series x while it had a disc inside….

As the title states, last night i bumped into my tv stand and i’m under suspicion my series x moved a tiny bit. Yes it was on with a disc inside but i was playing a different game. Should i worry, cause i know with previous xbox consoles if you moved it with a disc inside it would wreck the internals

Some Xbox 360 consoles used DVD drives where if you moved the console with a disc spinning inside it, it could get scratched. You could end up with a circle etched into the disc.

I dunno if the same thing can happen with the Blu-Ray drive used in Series X consoles, but if you eject the disc and it looks fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

If any damage has occurred, it'll almost certainly be limited to just the game disc, not the console hardware. Obviously, it's not advisable to move a console when it's on though.

There's always a chance something could happen moving any console with a disc inside. Chances are if you just bumped it, it's probably fine though.

Did you by chance move your x box while the game was inside on or off? If so then you did scratch the disc.

I had joined on my series X, on my Series S I had to join again through the insider app, reboot, update, then it worke.d

NO! Unlike some games that have an Xbox One version that will upgrade to the the S|X version if you put it in a series X, NBA2K for S|X is a complete different version than the Xbox One version and it will not work if you put the disc inside of an Xbox One. Xbox One cannon run a Series X game and putting a Series X disc inside an X1 will not install the X1 version.
