    I would appreciate it if anyone could help my boyfriend and me with this problem. He has gone to Minecrafts support team to help him with this, but they are offering no help. My boyfriend migrated his Mojang account to a Microsoft account in 2021, and after that, he was able to play perfectly fine with no problems. He had to sign out one day, so our friend could log in. After he had left, my boyfriend tried signing back into his account, but as he did so, It told him he had not bought the game, and he was only able to play the demo version. We have tried everything we have seen online so far, and we are honestly out of options. He would hate to buy the game again and waste the money. Minecraft deleted his old Mojang account, so he cannot log into that anymore. They also ask him for a purchase receipt of the game he purchased when he was around 7 (he is 19 right now), so he won't have a receipt anymore. You would think they would be able to use his email to see that he had owned the game, but again, no one is offering help to him. If anyone is able to help, we would appreciate it so much.

    I am logging into Minecraft Java Edition with the Microsoft account that I migrated my Mojang account to, and instead of being a full/paid version of Minecraft, it is only offering me to play the Minecraft "demo" version.

    Yes, the migration completed successfully. It showed me the confirmation message and everything. My skin is even transported to the Microsoft account, and I can log in with it both in Mojang site (It no longer lets me log in with the Mojang account, only with Microsoft account), and the launcher. But it says I don't own Minecraft java Edition, and only lets me play demo.

    You can't reverse the migration, but if you migrated your Mojang account to a Microsoft account you need to change and log now with the Microsoft login option on the launcher and use that Microsoft account now

    If even then you can only play the demo version is because you aren't using the correct Microsoft account or you haven't completed the Migration process, you can find more information about this here

    Also experiencing the same thing. I was able to play minecraft just this morning with the same account. Then when I tried logging in tonight, it says that I can only play the demo version. This only happened after I migrated to a microsoft account the other day. Get this fixed, microsoft. If you;re going to force us to migrate from Mojang accounts, then make sure the foundation is properly laid!

    If you find the game in your purchase history. You can download the game through the Microsoft Store or the Xbox app.
    If you don't find the game in this purchase history, it means the game was not purchased or redeemed on that account.
    Yeah, the same thing happened to me. I bought Minecraft years ago on Mojang, now I migrated the Mojang account to my already existing account. Now it let's me play only the demo version.
