Forum Guidelines] sent ,me a message and I have the logs to prove it, it was an insulting message and I was being calm about the whole ordeal. But He might've asked or he himself made me start lagging to upwards of over 6000 ping in one match of
operations on bf1 in argone Forrest this time at 7:30 on 10/5/17 and I need to know what will be done about this

If you have had a DDoS attack, you should contact your ISP as it is their network that is being attacked. The person/people doing so are not using Xbox Live to attack you, so their is not a lot Microsoft can do.

I'm unsure why support would redirect you here, since they should be able to advise you the correct steps to take, which can be found here: FAQs About DoS and DDoS Attacks on Xbox One

That link will have all the details on a DDoS attack and what to do. In short if you are still experiencing the issues due to the attack then you will have to restart your modem/router and if that doesn't help contact your ISP so they can sort it for you.

Also be sure to report the people that done this via the tools provided on the console, see this link for the steps on how to report: Xbox Enforcement | How Do I

This way Xbox Live Enforcement Team will be able to look into it and take actions where needed. This may take time though.

I hope everything will be sorted soon.

Side note: please do not share any information like a reference number, since it can be seen as personal information.

If you haven't done so already, you would need to file a complaint on him via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate him. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums. Since ddos attacks are done through your internet and not
Live, you would also want to alert your ISP.
