I messed up and now the code will not redeem.

I was redeeming a prepaid Microsoft Points code and after i put it in and pressed enter, while it was redeeming I accidentally pressed the Xbox Button on my Controller and it interrupted and stopped the redeeming. I went and put the code in again and it
said it was not valid code. I tried multiple times and got the same result. Is there any way for me to get my money back? This was a prepaid code from an email order on target.com if that makes a difference.

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately there is no way to set up the redeem again.

However, if you log in to commerce.microsoft.com with the gamertag that entered the code you'll be able to see if the currency was actually added to your account or not.

I've been having the same problem with the Game Pass Ultimate Auto-redeem. I got the points difference between manual and auto redeem refunded when it didn't work in May, but now it messed up again for June.

Ok, now I think to know what happened to me and I pretty sure I messed up all here and will loose this games.

When I redeemed the codes I did it from my portable computer and I just found, thanks to my new Windows Phone, the region on my Laptop was in Spain!! I don`t remember why I did change this but I`m pretty sure that as I did the redeem code from this laptop
the games are in PAL and not NTSC.

Does someone know if there is a way to fix this?

I had the same thing happen. I'm thinking they either messed up when assigning the codes or someone has found a way to crack the promotion generator and just redeemed a bunch of codes. It's a shame really, and kind of depressing. "Here, have this! Wait,
jk, lolz"
