I Love The Xbox One

Pc never. Get a look in now days consoles get more attention. That is why pcs are waste of time

 

I agree and the fact you don't have to upgrade every two years. Hopefully the Xbox one will have an 8-10 year span

 

This resolution debate is stupid. We are not comparing SD to HD. Even though some games are in 720, the detail is still there. It is not possible to pack as much detail in the games on the last gen as there is now.

Resolution is not everything. Games run 1080 on phones, but you can't fit the amount of detail on those games as you can on a console. People act like we are comparing Perfect Dark to KZ Shadow Fall. It is being over exaggerated.

The PS4 is putting out a higher resolution, why are people surprised by this. They have a bigger graphics chip. But I like being able to Snap a game guide, or TV next to my games and not have even a stutter in game performance.

Loving mine also, C'mon people where first adopters, the games will come. It's a awesome console that will get better!! Very happy with my purchase!!!

I would just like to point out that there are a lot of people on here saying that 1080p/60fps is the definition of next gen. Well then That means neither console is truly next gen. Ps4 runs bf4 at 900p and there are also a slew of games coming out on the
ps4 running at 30fps. Now by using the logic that 1080p/60fps is true next gen your basically saying the ps4 is not. Now everyone that knows me on here knows that I have never and will never crap on the ps4. It is a fabulous machine. But seriously get of you
high horse about it being all powerful. If it's so powerful, why only 30fps on a lot of the games coming out. Watchdogs, thief and many others. We get that yes it is more efficient at running the current crop of games but seriously, power is not everything.

 

I love it. No rebuttal huh guys? Where is the next gen superiority now?

 

And no Titanfall. If they weren't such scabs I'd pity them.

 

@Dufful, yes i believe 1080/60 is the benchmark for next gen, however they will not hit it every time depending on how demanding the game is...after all both consoles have limits.

But when a game hits 1080/60 on one console i expect it to hit it on the more expensive console, i wouldn't be surprised if the roles were opposite since the other console is cheaper.

I am not crapping on any console, i am just stating what my expectations are from my X1, i don't care how they do it, cloud/tiled resources/8% freed from kinect..... MS marketed the system as it has huge compute power "off shored to the cloud" i bought it
based on that much compute power and again i am transparent to the cloud, i am an end user and expect my content communicated regardless what is the media.

 

The problem isn't a lack of power. It's the difficulty accessing the power because the x1 is harder to code for than the ps4. It's been stated by developers. It's no different to the ps3 last gen. Until they learned how to use the complex arrangement of
hardware they couldn't get the full potential out of it. But in the end the ps3 had great graphics as seen in the last of us. Once the work out how to program for the x1 properly and really utilise it's power the. We will see great things. Will it ever be
as powerful as the ps4? Probably not. But seriously if power and resolution are all your concerned about then perhaps the x1 isn't for you. I look at it this way. Last gen I chose xbox 360. Clearly an inferior machine in terms of raw power when compared to
its main rival. Now if I had of chosen the other console based on the fact that it was more powerful, I would have missed out on the best console I've ever owned with some of the best gaming experience I've had in my 37 years of life. So to me. Power means
very little!

 

what MS stated is that ESRAM should not be difficult to program for (they were proved wrong) cause it is similar to the EDRAM of X360.

I am honestly starting to think that X1 is not for me, it is not the successor of X360 (yet) that i hoped for."as well my best console in my 31 years of life)

However i will still give the system time, i am not gonna judge it so early in its lifetime, but if it falls short i will reconsider my choice of console, but what is annoying at this stage is that there is no word from MS, nothing to address the issue.

Look mate I know it's frustrating. Made more so by the lack of communication from Microsoft. But really we are barely scraping 3 months into it. Rome wasn't built in a day my friend and neither is a console. Look how far the 360 came. It wasn't the greatest
when it came out either. I clearly remember people complaining that it didn't look much better than the original xbox. It will be the same with this one. It's at least 10 times as powerful as the xbox 360. That's the only comparison you should be worried about
honestly. Stick it out my friend. I get the feeling none of us will be dissapointed!

 

Yeh galactic. I'm going for best performance at the oscars this year!

 

I'm loving mine also. I've only had it for a day but having fun. If you can afford it I suggest get both systems. I have a ps4 and love that also but for different reasons.
