I'm not pulling my hair out as I don't have an Xbox One, but if I did I would not be worried because with new tech comes new problems.

 

I knew people would think I was trolling and I too wish it were true. I don't believe I could sell it for 300.00 dollars not when people can get a new one for 99.99 more. I'm stuck with it thats for sure. I'll try to enjoy it. I honestly did before yesterday
when I read that no matter what they did they never will be able to be as good as PS4. I just don't think I'll ever be able to fully enjoy it again. I hope the next Xbox is better but I want the one I have now to provide years of top quality entertainment.
Maybe I'll feel better in a couple days but I don't even want to turn it on today. Really though sorry for breaking protocol and what not but I wanted to get that out there.

I assumed they were true. Just Google X Box One and you will see nothing but doom and gloom. How it's tanking in Japan trailing over here has inferior hardware etc. I am an Xbox One owner, I bought it the day Madden 15 came out as a bundle. I then started
to read about it online where I found the aforementioned articles. Then a couple weeks later I find out had I waited I would have got the bundle you mentioned. Then a couple days ago I read that nothing Microsoft does will ever make it as good as PS4 is
now. That an the thing about Dragon Age drove me over the edge. I believed I was a moron for buying an inferior product and that Microsoft didn't care about its long time customer base because they released the inferior product. I'm stuck with it. I just
hope I can find joy in playing it again right now I don't want to turn it on. What's hilariously ironic is that Madden 15 is apparently better on Xbox One.

 

well again, i urge you to read all my posts as there is a lot of good information in there. As i said before both systems have positives over each other. There is no definitive better console. Some things the PS4 does better, some things the Xbox does better.
as far as missing the sale by a week, you do know that you can take in your reciept within 30 days for a price match anywhere? you could have returned it (matter of fact if you got from a good retailer you still can) and got the extra game free.

As far as japan goes, the PS4 tanked there as well. Japan isn't a big market for consoles anymore, the only device doing well in japan is the 3DS. and why would it matter anyway? sales numbers are nothing except for fanboys to throw around. If anything its
good for MS as lower sales means they will do more for us to win business and in turn us gamers win.

As far as DA goes, nothing has been confirmed. They haven't confirmed 1080p for either system. and with X1 you can get EA access (which i have) and i can play that game for free for 6 hours a week before it comes out. Something you can't do on PS4.

and again, read my posts because i listed several things the X1 does that the PS4 doesn't , why you choose to ignore that is beyond me. the PS4 is a good system, I'm gonna buy one eventuall. probably next year, but in no way is it "definitely better" then
the X1. both systems are comparible. Each has advantages and disadvantages. google will be filled with fanboy BS. most things will be posts on forums by ill informed people. and you seem to focus on madden which is identical on both systems. I see you also
have destiny which again is identical on both systems.

 

When a person posts how they feel...why argue? He vented. Someone is happy about their XBox, someone isn't. That's life. Move on.

 

@tzar, ms gave us the numbers themselves at hotchips before release, if that's "urban myth" well I don't know what to say.

@ Bengalbiff a lot of games won't reach parity unless there designed to work within the x1's performance envelope if the developer decides to push a game for the other console something's gotta give for it to run on the x1, and it will definatly rear it's
head again once they start pushing for every drop of performance nearer end of gen.

Does it make the xbox one bad? Mines currently getting the lions share of my gaming, I enjoyed the snappy response and get to it quick design of the ps4 at first but find myself missing the little things the x1 offers that I wasn't interested in at first,
I didn't realise how good the controller was either untill breaking my hand just after buying destiny, with a displaced knuckle/broken 4th meta I couldn't use the ps4 or 360 pad but happily enjoyed playing x1.

Accept it for what it is and you'll learn to love it lol.

 

To Upinya: I have focused on Madden because that's why I bought it. The last comment was meant as a joke, that as much as I'm complaining the game I wanted to play is better on X1 according to some. I haven't ignored what you said. I read about crackdown
and cloud computing and if that helps I'm all for it. I just hope I can enjoy the console I choose as I don't have the funds to buy the other. I'll know in the future to look at these things as to get the most value. My computer that I built for FSX is
pretty dang powerful so I always have that option. I just prefer playing on my TV with a controller as opposed to sitting at a desk playing on a small screen. I'll make the best of it but I hope the Xbox of the future uses the best hardware that is economically
feasible. I know how expensive top of the line GPUs are.

 

BB, out of curiosity, and if you're up for it and can find them again, I'd like to see some of these articles and/sources you're referring to so I can see them for myself. Two things I've noticed when people read something online is:

[1] the information they're accessing is old and out of date, and...

[2] they don't check for bias; they simply assume what's said is true.

Please make sure you're not doing either of those 2 things.

First to fatal, did you read where I acknowledged what the guy said. None of it does anything to fix the hardware gap and there are plenty if critics of the cloud computing idea. We will see if they are able to stay competitive. As others in this thread
admit unless they hold back on the PS4 version of 3rd party games there wouldn't be parity. Yes the Xbox employee I spoke too agreed with me that there is reason for us long time customers to be disappointed and for me to post how I felt here. You can be
happy with your X1 and sing it's praises. Just like I can be disappointed in mine and bemoan its lackof power. Now to Genchy: yea that is what happened. I purchased an X1 Madden 15 bundle and was enjoying it. I then searched the internet to find new games
to buy and came across the comparison s of the two consoles that say the X1 is 50% weaker than the PS4. I saw that most games perform better on PS4. These issues lead to me getting less enjoyment out of it and wishing I'd have researched this stuff before
buying. With all that said I'm an X1 owner for the duration. I'll be buying games for it and supporting the console in that manner but I will voice my aggravation over its performance.
