I love how shameless this game is with it's P2W

I mean, most other games will at least try to hide it's P2W. You know, only sell XP boosters and stuff like that. But here they flat out tell you
in the tutorial videos that "Yeah, you'll get an advantage on the battlefield if you shell out real money". I mean, I appreciate the honesty but geez, at least show a little shame in that.

Where do you see or it say that it is pay to win? If you spend real money you get a premium account which ONLY speeds up progression saving you time. If you think it is a pay to win game then you really haven't played it that much have you. Everything you
can spend money on you can get for free as well. Okay so you buy a premium tank. Well that tank is worse all around than any tank of the same type and tier that you can get for free. Also you have the disadvantage of having no clue how to play the tank that
you just purchased. Something that people who earn their tanks learn along the way. No world of tanks is not a pay to win game. There is nothing in this game that you can buy that makes it easy to win. Just saves time. That is all.

 

Yeah i wouldn't listen to midniteninja. He clearly has no clue what he is talking about. There is nothing in the game that is pay to win. As stated you can spend money to buy premium time. Which gives a 1.5 exp and credit bonus. Everything else can be earned
for no actual cost. The only thing spending money does is help speed up the grind. Might want to get your facts straight before making a post about something you have no clue about. Just makes you look silly.

 

this is the most free-to-win free-to-play game out there. I've never spent a dime on this game and I have over 60% wins with 11k+ battles.

like Wartail and Copious said, the only benefit you really get from paying is quicker grinds and some more in-game currency. You can switch out premium ammo and consumables for silver which is earned easily enough. And if you want to throw $30+ down on it
to get a premium tank to grind silver faster then it's all good. But remember that most premium tanks are only sub-par to their same tier counterparts so you aren't really getting advantages from paying anyway.

all points aside though, even if you spent over $2,000 it wouldn't give you any more an advantage over anyone else!

 

I am really not sure where people keep getting this pay to win idea from.

I mean theres stuff like premium time and premium tanks that you can buy but other than that all the other premium consumables and ammo can all be purchased using silver or gold as it shows (simply press Y on the ammo or consumable and it will switch the
purchase price to silver from gold).

As LordKillerDNA said, Premium tanks are mostly sub-par to other tanks in the same tier.

 

I have to agree with you. It really isn't PAY-to-WIN.

It's more like PAY-to-TRY-to-WIN. No matter HOW MUCH you pay, you're winning percentage isn't going to be any better.

The smartest move you can EVER make is to delete the Waste of Time from your hard drive & place a GOOD game disc in the tray. You'll feel a lot better & your gamer score will also improve!
