I lost my minecraft account after migration.

Hello there!

I have been playing minecraft since the beta version and also bought it when it released in Alpha.

I come back to the game now and again when my friends and i start a server for a while.

I wanted to comeback but noticed that accounts had been migrated, which is fine.

But now when i log in it requires me to rebuy the game.

This is odd considering i have owned the game for ages.

What do i do?

I had already migrated my account way earlier it's just that the Microsoft account messed up and it also messed up all the connected things ( since I had migrated, my Minecraft was tied to my Microsoft account but now I've lost it since I lost the account )

Hi Gijs H! I hope you are well, delighted to be able to offer you my help!

After the migration, you need to ADD a NEW account and link it to your Microsoft account. It will take longer to start, but it sure works.

Return when the Java Launcher login prompt appears. You will see the Mojang account you are logged into; ignore it and add a new account to the launcher. Use the email address associated with the Microsoft account you just transferred. Sign in with your Microsoft account email address and password. It's not an elegant migration from a user experience perspective, but it works.

Since my Microsoft account was linked to my Minecraft account I lost access to my Minecraft account cause someone deleted my Microsoft account. Now Im not sure what happens but I was wondering if i would be possible to link a diffrent Microsoft account to an already migrated Minecraft account.

Unfortunately not. If the Microsoft account that your Minecraft account was migrated to was deleted then your Minecraft would be essentially deleted along with it.

Hello again, try to contact Xbox Support, there have been some has been an issue since yesterday and I'll guess it is been worked on, I'll suggest you try again after a few hours and also try using multiple browsers as well.

I wrote a ticket on minecraft help center but firstly helper said that they can't help me, and after forwarding my ticket to company reprensentative, helper told me that they cannot help me because the game was purchased on Xbox Game Pass and because of that he told me that I should go to Microsoft for assistant, so here I am waiting for help.
