    I lost all my progress in Forza Horizon 5


    I downloaded Forza Horizon 5 to my computer through the library in the Xbox app, somehow it didn't sync properly with my Xbox One and I lost all the data I had in the game: all the cars, hours spent in the game, simply everything, and now I'm starting from scratch. That's why I want to ask if it's possible to get the data back so I don't have to start over.

    This has happened to me as well. Lost all my tracking progress for Forza Horizon 2 - when I checked the achievement app thoroughly, the progress on all locked achievements is now showing as 0%

    Tomáš, I'm afraid that by choosing that option you replaced the Xbox cloud save, so unfortunately from the Microsoft end it is no longer possible to recover it.     Your progress from Microsoft does not transfer to Steam. So if you want to play it through Steam, you'd have to start over.
