I loaded money into my sons account so he can buy v-bucks in Fort nite, that worked but...

I just bought V Bucks for Fort Nite and the purchase went through and the funds were taken off my gift card but I didnt get my V Bucks!!!

Consumables like Fortnite V-Bucks have to be purchased by the account that is supposed to use them.

Unfortunately, there is no way to transfer consumables to a different account. While it is possible to buy a game and some DLCs that your son can play thanks to the Home Console setting that shares your game purchases with the first console you set up with
your account, consumables can't be shared to a console.

Therefore your son can't see the V-Bucks in his account, as the V-Bucks are stored on your account, and not shared to the console.

In order to get your son V-Bucks, you would have to buy him a currency gift card, that your son then redeems, and with which he can then buy V-Bucks for himself.

And finding a live person to apeak to, is absolutely impossible...so frustrating for this not exactly tech savvy mom...

Thank you for reaching out! If you are not getting the permission request on your email you can try changing the

restrictions on your child account. You can also change them from the Xbox by doing the following:

1. Sign in to he parent account

2. Settings>Account>Family

3. Select the child account

4. Privacy and online safety

5. Custom>Buy and Download

6. Simply disable the "ask to buy" option

This will allow the child account to make purchases without asking for permission. We do recommend you enable it once the purchase goes through.

There's a couple options here for you if this is for BR and not STW. If it's for save the work you'd have to use your account and send money to the child acct and they could buy V-Bucks that way otherwise you can buy some V-Bucks on your acct and gift
them what they want in the BR store. You can send 3 gifts per day or week (I can't remember which). I've bought stuff for my son this way.
