Hi Guys,

I live in India and cannot place a service repair order for my XBOX ONE X which is under warranty. When I tried to place the service repair order using web site I get this message "There are no service offers associated with selected problem/accessory
type.". I have tried XBOX CHAT customer care but failed to get it registered.

Does any one of you have encountered this kind of problem. Can somebody help me here, I dont know what should I do? Simply cannot get it fixed???

Xbox 360s Disc Drive Problem

It is very disappointing to know that my Xbox 360s which I bought in Dubai, is not covered under warranty in India. Presently I live in India and having problems with my Disc Drive (Console is not reading any Discs), when I contacted Xbox Service Centre,
I was told that though my console is under warranty period, it is not covered under warranty in India. I really doubt that World leaders like Microsoft would put such kind of warranty hitches. I want my full rights as a Microsoft Xbox Customer and my Console
to be covered under warranty in India as I live in India and also I am a registered Xbox customer from India only.

 

replacing a product under warranty

I am trying to replace my xbox one controller under the warranty, which is still valid til 2-2018. When I try to place a service order for the controller, it asks for credit card information. I was under the impression that the controller was covered under
the warranty. Can anyone help

 

Did you purchase your console from a different country? The warranty is void (or at least ineligible for service outside of the originating country of purchase) if this is the case.

 

I have the same problem with an Xbox One X I got in the U.K., I'm living in Mexico and can't use the warranty, the customer care chat person recommended me to ship the Xbox to the U.K. to make valid the warranty.

 

That is one of the problems with buying things in countries where you dont live. Warranties for most products are only valid in the country where the product was purchased.

 

I got my Machine in Hong Kong and I live in Hong Kong there is no Repair service provided in Asia so the Warranty is total **** and worth absolutely nothing - MY Xbox one X broke after 2 months and that was 4 months ago - still no choice or option to repair
so please don't preach about warranty and purchase location as Microsoft have got your money and you can go and fu%k yourself if we expect them to provide support and repair.
