    I want to cancel my membership.

    Im in Costa Rica and xbox not support this country so i wanna cance by membership for now , but first i wanna know what is gonna happend with my remind time with gold, maybe you can send me prepaid codes like you do with other people.

    Im using the forum because i cant make a phone call from Costa Rica to U.S.A support thanks.

    So hello guys I'm new in this, but one thing I know is that Xbox live no matter if you are in Costa Rica and make an account from the states live will still recognize that you are in costa rica because of IP address identification. So I recommend getting
    a laptop activate sharing internet by wire and connect to the internet by a vpn

    No one here knows when the Live service will be expanded to non-Live countries. If you have purchased a Gold membership then odds are it's for a different region (country) than the one you live in and will not work as Gold memberships are region locked
    which means that you cannot use it unless your Gamertag matches the region the Gold membership is for.

    In the meantime you could try posting in the Feedback forums to see if the developers may be able to add it at some point in the future.
