Sorry this happened... You can also try this:

1. Go to Windows Live Sign In and try signing in with what you think is your Windows Live ID (email address and password). If you can sign in to Windows Live, go to Xbox.com and try signing in with this same Windows Live ID information. If you’re prompted
to create a new gamertag, the Windows Live ID you entered is not associated with an Xbox LIVE Account.

2. If you still can’t find your Windows Live ID information, contact
Xbox Support. You’ll be asked several questions to confirm your identity before your Windows Live ID can be looked up.

hello carpalpuppet63, sorry to hear about your email issue. the WLID will be listed on your console under account management. OR you can try opening up a few of your email accounts and see if there are messages from xbox.com OR you could ask if anyone
has some emails sent from you OR you could see if it's written down somewhere.

You will need to contact phone support and ask them to look for your gamer tag and if they can find it they will go through a security process with you. And if you pass they can give you your email if not your only hope will be to locate the last console
it was saved on and hope you had the profile to auto sign in. If this is the case you'll be able to get the email off the console.
