    I keep losing connection on Xbox One X (IPV6)


    I have been experiencing this problem for a few months now and I just cannot put up with it anymore. I have been playing the new Modern Warfare and while I am playing, I will suddenly lag and then get booted. This happens on Destiny 2 and Ghost Recon as
    well. When I go to my network settings, I notice that it is now only Ipv4 instead of Ipv4 and Ipv6. I then have to reconnect to the internet and that will fix it for another round or two before it does it again. Some times its really bad and I cannot even
    finish one round. I have cleared my Mac Address, done hard resets, cleared caches, deleted reserved space for each game, reset my console and nothing fixes it. I live with my buddy who has the original Xbox one and he does not have this issue. We are connected
    to the same network. I got so pissed today that I put a hole in my wall. Its infuriating to pay this much for the console and games and it doesn't work properly. I looked briefly online and it seems like others may be having the same issue as me but there
    is no clear solution. I have never posted on any type of online forum for help, but I don't know what else to do. Somebody please help.

    Both wireless. I would have to run about 100ft of ethernet cable to do wires.

    Hey sorry about the frustration! Lag can be the worst lol. how ever maybe because he is a lot closer to the modem that hes having a better connection than you! One thing that will most likely help your connection is one of those wall plugins that boosts
    WiFi through the house, maybe put one in your room! Your modem can have a big thing to do with it. I was having issues then i called my provider and demanded a new modem and they gave me a new one for free

    You could try installing a WiFi analysing app on your mobile phone. This will scan to see if there are overlapping networks interfering with the signal. If there is, you can select a less congested channel in the router.
