I keep Getting Kicked off of Live Repeatedly

I'm having the very same problem. I've tried everything and it won't work. I've looked all over and tried everything I've seen xbox suggest it won't work.

Hi SYN Marilyn,

Totally understanding how frustrated this would make you. Just to clarify, can you sign in alright to Xbox Live?

Do you find that this only happens when trying to play games, or does it disconnect when just navigating the Dashboard?

In addition, could you please check out this guide (forums.xbox.com/.../155724.aspx) and reply back with the answers to the bold questions. This would help myself and other Support/Ambassadors assist you.

I keep Getting Kicked off of Live Repeatedly

I can sign inot live.

It disconnects whether I am playing a game or just sitting in a party at the Dashboard.

For some reason the link you put there is shortened and I cannot access it.

Hello,

Here are are a few things I can suggest.

Shut down your Xbox 360, once it is shut down, remove the power plug from the wall/extension. Wait about 30 seconds plug it back in, and then start the console up.

If this did not work, clearing of the system cache may do the trick, but before you do that we'll try a double trouble shoot.

Steo 1. Go to Settings > System > Storage > Hard Drive

Step 2. Press "X" for delete suggestions (This will display all files on your harddrive)

Step 3. Go through the whole list and find any file that indicates a yellow icon indicating Inco,mplete Files or Corrupt Files. Go ahead and delete every last one of those, once you are certain all of those affected files are removed if any, go back to Settings
> System > Storage (This time just highlight Hard Drive and press "Y" to bring up device options. Then go ahead and clear your System Cache.

Step 4. Shut down your console, and wait for the green light to turn to amber on your power brick. Once it is amber, go ahead and boot your console back on.

I am sorry it has taken this long for someone to reply to your question, and I really hope your issue has been resolved prior to reading my reply, and if it hasn't please send a reply back and I will get back to you with more suggestions.

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? When I test the connection I connect just fine, but when i look at the status I get :

W: 0000-000B

X: 0001-8005

Y: 20A8-4800

Z: 0000-0000

ID: FFFF-FFFF
