I keep getting kicked off Live!

This site probably gets it a lot, but here is what is wrong with my xbox.

So there was an update a month and a half ago, right? And before this, my xbox was perfect, never got kicked out of anything. I think I had left my xbox on that day, like I have before.

And I come home that day, it says I have been kicked off the servers, lost connection to xbox live.

And my reaction was like "Oh, I guess if you're gone for 15 minutes, you get kicked off live" thinking maybe it's to save internet or something.

So I log back on to my account, and start playing. Not knowing I'd be kicked off, I start an online game on NHL 14. And it kicks me off. So I turn off my xbox and unplug my modem. Thinking it has stopped, I start a game. And I get kicked off Live again!

So fast forward some time, I am now trying to get help to fix this problem. I have read upon it, and every single solution that I have read on other sites have not worked.

My Ping is 33ms

Download Speed is 6.16 MBPS

Upload Speed is 2.07 MBPS

Everything there should work, but it doesn't and I do not know what to do. It is very frustrating.

What can I do to stop it?

I am having the same issue. I have even hooked used 3 different xboxs in my game room and it keeps kicking me off. Yet my sister can play on the same network in the next room over with no issues.

I have been having the same problem for almost a week now I called Xbox and my internet provider and still no luck there has to be something wrong with Xbox Live that there tech support is over looking or can't see. Please Microsoft fix the issue for all
the 360 owners out there please don't forget about us now the Xbox One is out.

Sorry to hear that you're having troubles with Xbox Live.

First of all, could you please list the troubleshooting steps (besides unplugging your modem) you've taken so far, just so we won't post anything that you've already tried?

In some cases this behavior is caused by faulty Profile data and can be solved by

- deleting your gamertag from your console

- deleting the systemcache

- redownloading your gamertag

you wont lose savegames or something, but if your gamerscore was not synced completly you might end up having to unlock a few achievements again.

 

I've deleted my gamer profile from my xbox, and cleared system cache. But not at the same time..

Okay, so I did as he said, and for the first day I didn't get kicked off. i re-downloaded youtube yesterday, and got kicked off about 5 times in one hour, tried again and didn't work the second time.

No I do not get an error code.

 

I am having similar problems with world of tanks. I get disconnected from xbl every time I try to launch the game. Followed the support steps from the game provider and still same after following the steps exactly. I log into the game and every time
I am disconnected from Xbox live immediately.. I have tested the connection to Xbox live and it's fine. My Xbox gold membership is current. I have wasted $40 on gold in the game and wasted another $30 in getting live gold for this account. Never had this sort
of issue with playstation.

 

This happens to me all the time. I delete my cache and have deleted my profile several times...You'd think that the xbox is advanced enough to not even have to delete the cache, can they make a product that just works?

 

Same. Some days I can play an hour or so without getting kicked off. Today I'm getting kicked off every three minutes. Can't do anything. Can't watch ESPN app. No Netflix. My PS is on the same network. No problems there.
