I keep getting disconnected off Xbox Live when I play COD and I can't figure out what the ...

I recently moved to a new address and the modem is pretty new since I got it replaced 4 months ago. Every since I moved, I keep getting disconnected offline when I play COD!

I read a bunch of forums. I cleared my cache 3 times and delete my profile and re downloaded a bunch of times but it didn't work. I switched from wireless to wired connection. I changed my connection to Static IP and my UpNp is on. I tried to reset my connection
to factor defaults a bunch of time. I switched channels on my modem. DMZ is on connected to the IP address on my Xbox but I still keep getting disconnected. It's really frustrating if you are someone who loves gaming..

I can't seem to figure out what the deal is with this one...I've been trying to connect to Black Ops 2 to play and I keep getting disconnected only to receive this error code when I try to reconnect...this doesn't happen when I play anything else...any help
would be greatly appreciated

Black ops 2 is taken over by modders, are you sure you are not just being booted offline?

If it doesn`t happen on other games, then it will be those modders that are causing it.

Seriously, do not offer cash rewards to people helping you on this site.

 

I don't know. It might be but I have the same problem when I'm playing Advanced Warefare so I highly doubt it.

 

Also I would be the only one who would get connection interurpted in the game and get lagged out while others are still in the game.

 

It has to be a issue with your internet connection if you are the only one having problems.

I would get in touch with your supplier and get them to check your line.

If it was a problem on the game or xbox live, this forum would be swamped with people complaining, the problem is at your end.

 

My internet works perfectly fine for all my other devices. Just Xbox live. There are a bunch of posts complaining about getting disconnected and some who can't find the answer to this problem.

 

The problem seems to be the modem, xfinity technicolor tc8305c. Everyone who has the same modem seems to be having the same problem ever since the update. Their isn't any solution so far but to put the modem in brudge mode then connect one of the port to
a seperate router. That would be a waste for the modem since there is a fee for it monthly and you would have to spend more money to get a router unless you have one..

If anyone finds out a solution, please let me know asap!!
