I keep getting disconnected from games but my connection to the internet is stable

I have been routinely disconnected from games at 20 to 40 minutes of play time. I also have a problem where any kind of video that i try to play will freeze and i can try and start it and stop it, move the movie forward and back on the progress bar. Nothing
will work it stays frozen. Back out and start it again will play for a while and freeze. I have tried disconnecting from xbox live, my router, directly wiring my xbox and none of it works. I sometimes lose connection fron xbox live but that does not happen
very often. Usually im still connected to xbox live and everything looks completly normal. I can access messages, look at mt activity feed (including watch videos my friends posted) and search the xbox store. My console is pratically useless right now bc i
dont want to play a game just to be kicked out 20 to 40 minutes in. The problem started around a week ago and i had no problems before that

I have a stable internet connection but my 360 keeps getting disconnected on LIVE

Tried continuous ping on PC with the same network as 360; PC never gets disconnected but the 360 does.

it refuses to keep me in games, i keep getting a grey box telling me i disconnected from the mw3 server, but it only started happening recently and i have almost perfect internet connection, whats wrong with it?
