    I keep getting an error code that won't go away


    I haven't used my Xbox 360 in about a year. If it makes any difference, I never used Xbox live when I used my 360. When I get it to start, it has an error code saying, "Some Xbox 360 features are missing or corrupt. A system update is required to to
    replace them. Your console will now restart. If the problem persists, there may Ben a problem with your storage device."     What should I do?

    That's what I figured. I've seen some people have just replaced the disk drive itself, but that might be beyond me. Though it's not like I have any warranty to worry about. Hopefully I can just find a used Slim and all will be good. Thanks for the quick

    There's no sanctioned fix other than sending the console into MS for repair.



    If it was me, I'd just buy another console. I'd put an extended warranty on it as well.

    I have a solution! when you get the error there is a secret menu under the error code. DO NOT PRESS B to go back, instead keep pressing A and down, you will hear the button select sound. keep doing this until it goes away by itself, then check your active
    downloads. worked for me. i hope it works for you all.

    I just got this error code 3 today on all of my indie games..Really bugs me because I was going to play Total Miner with my nephew and now it won't play..It's really odd that this is happening and I really have no found any helpful things on how to get this
