I keep getting 2 charges for subscriptions per month in which are not mine

To cancel a subscription, you must have access to the account from which the payment originated. Xbox Support cannot help you without access.

To be sure which account the charges are coming from, you can use the "Investigate" tool on the following website:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

Add the payment method to your account, and you will see the charges recorded in the system and an indication of the accounts they came from.

If you can remember the emails, you and your children may be able to remember the passwords. If not, you can try to regain access to the accounts by following the recovery methods found here:

you can get 1month 3months or 12months or 2 years

it goes abit cheaper the more months you buy per month

you pay in lump sum payment once with renewal later but like 12months will be only 5bucks per month by paying 59.95 vs 9.95 for 1month

or 19.95 for 3months

you are charged based on the subscription so 12months will be charged 59.95 without another charge till 12months or whatever you stack you can buy multiple subscription time upto 3 years at a time

but sometimes there are sales on subscription time on the dashboard or amazon or your local retailer

i sometimes get 13months for 59.95 or 14months for 49.95 depends (14months is no more so far as i seen)

i think you misread the terms if it's for as little as 5 bucks a month that's the break down of cost per month for a year subscription which is 59 bucks in most regions they charge you for the annual charge rather then the monthly which is basically 5 dollars
for a month but all at once vs 9.95x 12 your are talking about 120 bucks vs 59.95

1month promotions tend to be 1 dollar a month

Either way, you will be charged NOTHING on September 27th. It's $2 for 2 months, not $2 per month for 2 months.

You will always lose months converting: 12 months of gold are 4 months of ultimate.

Usually when gold subscriptions get cheaper for sales, you will get a bit more: i bought for 40€ that 12 months, which is 4 months of ultimate. it is 10 bucks per months, which is quite a good price if you think about it: 120 per year, 60 for gold and 60
for game pass, which is, in the end, one new game
