I keep disconnecting from parties

I got my xbox one a few days ago and i consistently have this problem. I know my internet is fine. Any ideas?

can any one help I keep disconnecting from xbox live parties. I have an open nat and have tried most troubleshooting steps.

recent xbox system update

i got friends on xbox that are having connection problems since the latest update and they keep disconnecting from parties

they keep getting disconnected from the xbox live and its really annoying them....

is there anyway you can fix this fast.

Internet is fine is a very general statement. I'm going to assume you mean you have decent speeds with no issues of disconnecting. Have you checked your NAT type? You want it to say "open".

Secondly, perhaps you aren't the problem. Is it a certain people with whom the issue arises, or everyone?

Thirdly, perhaps its just a bug and you need to hard reset the console to set things back to normal.

Hold the power button for about 5 seconds (until your xbox shuts off completely)

Turn it back on, if you see a green Xbox One screen you did it right, if not try again.

Good Luck, tell us if it worked, and if not give us as much info as possible.

Can you post up the make and model of your router and your modem as well (if this is not a single unit). Can you also tell us if you connect wired, or wireless with your console.

Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?

Do you participate in the Preview Program, with the current preview version: 2.0.17425.0?

I know its just the xbox now. I have got my hands on another one and no issues at all.

could it be a sign of a network issue within the xbox itself?

The problem seems to be much worse today since xbox said they fixed the issue with connections dropping from live.

This is getting so painful and frustrating from dropping from live and parties its almost to the point i want to dig out the old PS3 and see if they have any issues.

I wonder if people help on here. I post the info on what people ask for and no one gets back to me and I see alot of people with questions that do not get responded to as well.

I am frustrated from trying the same things over and over trying to fix things. You can only do what xbox support pages tell you do so many times and that is why most come on here cause they have tried that and its not working then most are sent back to
look at the same stuff again.
