    hey i was ddosed by a guy on xbox his gamertag is [Mod Removed] he also called my local police and had them at my door i told them nothnig happened so they left he has ddosed me 4 time in the past 3 days then he held me offline for a hole
    week i need help

    If you keep getting "booted offline" and have tried unplugging your network for 5 - 10 minutes, but the problem still persists; you should contact your ISP to request for a new IP address. For more information on DoS and DDoS attacks, including steps on

    For future reference "naming and shaming" other players in the Xbox Forums is not allowed as Xbox support cannot prove if such an event happened, despite if you have proof; your only option is to follow the steps on this

    I have a server up at the moment and it could have caused damage, it is illegal and also against the xbox terms of use, he should be punished (banned) for what he did to me and others, my video proof shows that he done it, I knew he was going to do it because
    he had done it minutes before, also he does things on cod4 that you would not believe, he is always talking about things like "mod menus" and him having a "jteg or jtag". I just don't understand why you guys cannot do anything about it.

    it is because they are not attacking you through MS Live servers they are hitting your entire net offline. since it is not going through MS or Live there is nothing MS can do. just either A: reset your modem/router (unplug both for a few minutes and plug
    them back in) or B: contact your ISP and see if they can help you with that issue. the only thing MS can do is you can report the tag that is doing the hitting you offline via your console's dashboard.
