    I have been an avid xbox gamer since I purchased an xbox 360 elite console 5 years ago. Recently when the Xbox One- Madden 15 bundle was announced, I was so excited I traded in all of my games and my 360 and purchased the One. This was a giant mistake, one
    that I sincerely wish I could take back.

    I have been a loyal Xbox customer and I have always been thrilled with how great xbox has been. Unfortunately, Xbox was great, and is great no longer. I have had issues with my Xbox One controller (one that I purchased last Tuesday and have hardly used)
    where the buttons stick and it has caused grief for me while gaming. This is most likely a common issue with controllers but one that I trusted Xbox Support would quickly and painlessly resolve. I assumed incorrectly. The only support I was offered on the
    website was the online chat support, a service that I had used for another issue I had with my Madden 15 on Xbox One, one that I was incredibly disappointed in. I was ignored by the first person I talked to where they left the chat session
    after telling me I should have bought Madden 15 Ultimate Edition ($10 more than the standard game) in addition to my console bundle and tried to sell someone my code for the Madden 15 download. This was clearly an awful solution as no one would want to buy
    the code for the same price as the disc (I have had more issues with the downloaded game than I have ever experienced with a disc game, and a disc game would be resellable and would not take up 19GB of hard drive space.) The bundle was a unfair deal as those
    who purchased the $400 console bundle did not receive the same benefits as those who purchased the $70 Ultimate Edition of the game, and there was no bonus for preordering the bundle (not even the bonuses that people who preordered Madden 15 received). I have
    had issues with my controller and after spending an extended period of time on the online chat session, the woman had me troubleshoot the controller (clearly a stupid idea for a hardware issue, but I chose to humor her.) The supporter could not fix the issue
    and gave me a link to send it in for repair, this was clearly not worth the 20 minute wait to speak with her. But I went on to the website, registered my console and I went to try to send in my controller for repair. No surprise, nothing that is "Microsoft"
    can be simple or good for the customer. The product code of my controller did not exist and I had to google the xbox support number to finally wait 15 minutes to speak with a real person. The person had no knowledge of the subject and did not seem bothered
    by the fact that Microsoft had been wasting so much of my time. She took a long time to process all of it as she blamed it on her computer going slow, she
    must be using a Microsoft computer and Internet Explorer. She after putting me on hold and making me wait was able to submit a repair order for my controller, which is under warranty until November 2015. She told me I must have purchased the
    console bundle 11-15-2014, its currently 9-4-2014... But she explained what I would need to do for the repair, send in the controller in a secure sturdy box, using high quality packing materials (even had the nerve to say
    recyclable) and ship it via UPS or FedEx to their center in Texas. This is highly inconvenient for me living at my University, and also Xbox would not be paying for the shipping or packaging materials, also she said after they receive it they will then mail
    it to me after 10 business days. Which is fantastic for me because I live at my University they would have to mail it to my house, so I would not even receive the controller until I return home. I explained my frustration with this process as I just bought
    the console bundle and I am pretty peeved that they will make me wait over 2 weeks to get back my controller so I can use the freaking console I paid $400 for.

    And what do I get out of all my time and frustration with the controller already? Im out money to ship it and the time to get it back.

    Keep in mind, I did not damage the controller, I received a defective product. I explained to the woman that after all of this, I think it may be in my best interest to return the console while I still can to the retailer and just by the Play Station 4.
    I was bluffing, looking for a sincere apology, but she said I can do that, I'm the customer, its my choice. If that is the attitude Microsoft wants to take in defending the quality of their service and products, I might as well follow through and upgrade to
    the Play Station 4.

    As a loyal customer of 5 years+ of Xbox, I'm disgusted with the poor quality of service that I have received from Microsoft. I am sincerely disappointed with my purchase, and I offer this to anyone looking into buying an Xbox One, save yourself the money
    and disappointment and do not buy the Xbox One. Microsoft does not care, and that's fine. Thank you Xbox, thank you for ruining an experience that I once loved.

    Xbox profile corrupted?

    this problem needs to be fixed asap or i want my money back this not acceptable, i would express how im feeling by swearing but just know that i am very frustrated.

    Sorry to hear of this!

    As the poster above me suggested, I would return the console to the retailer you purchased it from and I'm almost certain they would be willing to exchange it for another!

    ps4, but hey we buy these things becasue we supposedly trust both microsoft and sony. so when something goes wrong we want to blame them. next time relax and think and remember their in the business to sell and we're in the business to play...hey go figure.
