    Do i need xbox live

    I think its only multi player (of retail games) and cross chat that is behind the pay wall. Apps and free to play games that are multi player are outside the PSN plus restriction and free to play apparently, although many would say you pay enough to win to make that a fair compromise I just redeemed an Xbox live code and I don't have Xbox live what do I do? ;)

    basically tho if you get these consoles you really need the online sub, if you want to consume netflix and the like only then a Roku box would be far cheaper etc..

    If you received the code on Xbox Live messaging center, and have not redeemed the code within a few days you will receive another message from Xbox Live stating that you have yet to redeem the code. That message will have the code within it. Hope this helps!
