    Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the issue, it looks like you're trying to get a Xbox 360 controller to work on your pc. How is this controller connecting to your PC? Is it a wired controller or wireless controller? If it's a wireless 360
    controller there is a wireless dongle that would be needed to have the controller work on PC. Please let us know.

    Any wireless options in terms of connecting to the controller? I am trying to avoid using a cable from my headset to my controller because they never last. I know I can party chat from my PC while on xbox, but would like to avoid running my pc and xbox

    Thanks for reaching out and responding to us. We would be more than happy to help. Now we do need a bit more information since it seems like there might be a bit of miscommunication. So from our understanding you are trying to update a controller for an
    Xbox One on a Windows 10 PC? I ask because when we go through the translation, it mentions a pad. If there is a pad included, would this be a chatpad or another device being used?

    If it is the controller and it just blinks, then I would recommend checking out how to Troubleshoot your Xbox One wireless controller on
    a PC.

    Also, please make sure to check out how to Connect and troubleshoot Bluetooth on your Xbox
    One Wireless Controller     .
