The motion tracker is always out when not in combat in Aliens Colonial Marines because it gave me a heads up which then alerted me to saying this



..........

Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of the fact that the Alien was using the motion tracker against me in Alien Isolation until you told me and I already spent 6 hours completing that super aggrevating stress inducing section of the game

........

Again, I am really sorry, but I still want to kick in the family jewels of a Medically career inclined mission giver along with a Medically career inclined special item holder (if he wasn't already asleep when I found him).

...........

Unfortunately, I am still very much vexxed for having to go through that 6 hour death-fest and at the moment of this posting, Alien Isolation is still the WORST game in the series.

If I ever decide to resume playing Alien Isolation after 2 weeks, I will surely perform much better than I did when I was learning how the game works and dying one million times!

I really really really want to like this game but at the moment I absolutely despise, loathe, abhor, and hate it!

I would rather watch paint dry than touch Alien Isolation again right now

My example with Alien Isolation was simply to point out that I didn't check what the game had in store for me before purchasing it.

Had I known everything that I did now, I would not have picked-up Alien Isolation.

Long story short, I should have done more research on the game before picking it up

^Using the motion tracker is not against you, I played on normal difficulty and used it all the time, you just don't get it out when the Xeno is right on top of you.

Lei Fang DOAX3, I wont say if there is something "wrong" with you if you like killing Xenos in ACM but if you actually like the Game ACM, well that's a different story. To each their own though.

As for the Motion Tracker goes, no having it out does not mean the Alien will kill you 100%. What I am saying it is is far more likely to attract its attention and draw it closer to you. It does help with the Joe's though, so it's a trade off between the two.

I found that I rarely used the motion tracker. The only time I would use it was if I didn't have a clue where the alien was. Even then I would only use it for like 2 seconds max just to get an idea before I decided to move.

I think you went in expecting a different type of game as this is more of o survival game. Once you get the flamethrower it will be a lot easier as it will keep it at bay and run away from you. It almost makes it too easy.

 

I found the Xeno got less bothered by the flame thrower the more you used it, I only used it a couple of times near the end when it was getting really hairy...

TBH I just knew that playing Isolation whilst listening to Disney tunes was never going to end well. Been a class bit of forum entertainment though.

Come on Lei Fang, gather yourself and go run rings round that Xeno, actually forget that creep some very slow rings around her....

 

Lei Fang I think I just realised the root of your problem with this game, looking at your earlier post you actually prefer "Aliens" over the original "Alien" I will just leave this here.....

 

I did notice that about the flamethrower in regards to not working as well. It's almost like it got used to it lol. You would need a few extra bursts and longer ones to get it to work. Now the synthetics in hazmat suits were a different story.

 

Yes I remember I used the *** on the Xeno and instead of hurtling up the nearest vent, it backed up a bit hissed at me and kinda shot me a dirty look before trying to advance again, freaked me right out, after that flames just didn't seem to phase it as
much. The AI on that thing is mental!!!
