I just have a suggestion.

It would be nice if when purchasing items through Xbox live we have the option of entering a password before the purchase. I have young kids. I buy movies for them through my account but I am finding that they are treating this like Netflix and picking any
movie and going through the steps of purchasing them and watching them. My 2 year old just bought a movie without even knowing what they crap he was doing. Just pressing buttons. My 5 year old bought a rated R movie. I was told they only way to avoid this
is getting an child gold account and then they wouldn't be able to purchase movies. That is great and all but then all the movies I purchased for them to watch would still be on my account not on theirs. I would still have the same problem iff I wanted them
to watch there movies.

So the whole point of this is an OPTION of a password for purchases would be nice.

If you didn't sign up during the time in which they announced the beta offering, you really have no one to blame but yourself. But at the same time, why should others who went through the process be penalized because there might be someone with a longer
tenure who might decide one day that they would like to do the beta?? I'm not attacking you by any means either, just showing you the other side of the coin.

Dashboard I don't understand your comment. MS already has the rewards program and it uses points. So I don't understand where you are coming from with this. I don't receive anything for being a loyal car buyer from Subaru for 20 years, and I have spent
way more money on their cars than I have for a 360, and yet MS has a rewards program. It may not be the most stellar program in the world, but its better than nothing.

I never understood why some people think that they deserve something for nothing. I pay for other services besides xbox live and I don't have this expectancy to get more than what is advertised that I would be getting.

I been buying electricity for the last 20 years but the power company has never given me any rewards. I guess they must not care then if we go by that theory.

 

You have a option to set a key before anyone can log in to xbox live.

On the xbox one you have an option like you want.

So whenever you buy something you have to enter your Microsoft account password.

 

On Xbox 1, hit your start button, then go to Options, then
Sign-in, security & passkey

There are five levels of security you can set, select one of the higher ones that require a passkey before making a purchase..

 

on xbox 360, you can get a refund for any charges that were not authorized, but only onces. after that, it would be best to just take your credit card off.
