Xbox live Gold Free Trial issue

Hi there! So, I've just got an Xbox 360 recently and I have wanted to do the free trial. So I did everything you needed to do get a free trial, I apparently have it working on my Microsoft Subscriptions but not my Xbox 360. I also had an Xbox Live Silver
account before I knew you needed a Gold for online games. So I'd like to please have help.

Xbox Live Gold Free Trial

Hi,

I made a new account today and then I got a prompt saying if I wanted to try the free gold trial, but I clicked No Thanks. However, I later decided to buy Gold and since I had to buy a subscription first to get the trial, I bought the 1-month subscription.
I thought that I would get the free trial, but I still got charged for the 1 month. Is there a way to get the trial after the month expires or get a refund?

I just signed up for xbox live to trial it but I didn't get the 1 month free trial when I created my account

Only one Xbox Live Gold free trial can be used/redeemed used under the same account. I just want to clarify, are you able to sign in and download your profile, and access the multiplayer feature of your online games? If you can, then that means that you
already have the free trial. You will need to wait until the free trial expires before you can avail another free trial (code), or allow the same free trial to renew (if the free trial was subscribed from xbox.com).

That is the only guaranteed option for the free trial. Technically, your account creation is finished as soon as it assigns you a gamertag, the rest is just LIVE.

Sometimes, offers for free trials show up on the dashboard, but it would have same restriction of requiring a payment method in order to use it.

If you want the free trial, best bet would be to set up a different account and get it then.
