I just got Banned

I was just banned for 7 days for calling someone another name for a cat. Meanwhile in the same discussion the person who reported me said what the ****. Why am I banned and they are not? If xbox read the whole conversation they would see that, and should
ban them as well. The word I said was not nearly as bad as what they said.

Happy your able to play again, now as for talking, their might still be a communication suspension, you can check that online at the Xbox Enforcement Page.

Also, check your Nat Type, make sure its Open. If its moderate or strict, it will affect your playing or talking with others, in which you would need to open up specific ports for your Xbox on your router.

Make sure your mic is unmuted.

 

Even if the other person is not banned yet, they most likely will be. There's no way for you to know for sure when they receive an enforcement action.

 

Do I have to report them as well? Or will xbox do that automatically?

 

You will not know if they are suspended or not the enforcement team does not give that information out to other players.

And just because they have not been suspended yet doesn't necessarily mean they wont be suspended in the future.

The enforcement team does not monitor these forums.

Thanks for the help guys, I was in the wrong and i should not have called him a cat. I just thought that it was a little unfair that i was banned for that and he was not banned for his use of cuss words. I guess ill never know
