    I just got banned and Xbox just lost a member


    ok Xbox you've really done it this time because if I don't get my account unbanned within an hour I'm done I'm not going to be playingn on any sort of Xbox console ever again and if worst comes to worst and I really need something to play I'll go buy a PlayStation

    I just got Banned

    Even if the other person is not banned yet, they most likely will be. There's no way for you to know for sure when they receive an enforcement action.

    I just got Banned

    I was just banned for 7 days for calling someone another name for a cat. Meanwhile in the same discussion the person who reported me said what the ****. Why am I banned and they are not? If xbox read the whole conversation they would see that, and should
    ban them as well. The word I said was not nearly as bad as what they said.

    The Enforcement teams don't use the forums at all and they only communicate through a
    Case Review. 24 Hour communications suspensions and Console Suspensions are not reviewable, however you can find more information in these cases through the communication sent
    by the teams to the email address associated with your Xbox Live Gamertag. Remember that all suspensions are only enforced when a breach of the
    Code of Conduct or
    Microsoft Services Agreement has happened.

    One of the common myths is that people who report another user for no reason will see that person suspended. This is not the case and in fact is subject to action as well for false reports which you can find more information about Enforcement Myths HERE.

    If you believe the suspension was in error and if you're eligible, you can submit a case review using the steps
    HERE, however sometimes you're asked to complete a short questionnaire before you can submit a case review. All of the questions refer to the
    Code of Conduct, which you should review prior to filing the review. If you fail on the questionnaire during the Case Review, don't worry as you'll be given another chance in 24 hours.

    You will not know if they are suspended or not the enforcement team does not give that information out to other players.

    And just because they have not been suspended yet doesn't necessarily mean they wont be suspended in the future.

    if you feel that you should not have been suspended then you can file for a case review at enforcement.xbox.com

    The enforcement team does not monitor these forums.

    Thanks for the help guys, I was in the wrong and i should not have called him a cat. I just thought that it was a little unfair that i was banned for that and he was not banned for his use of cuss words. I guess ill never know
