I just got a xbox one and it wont let me send messages

Messaging Problem

I was sending messages on Smartglass to my cousin. All of a sudden, got message saying problem with my account, can't send message, and got to Xbox.com for details. I'm here. I can't find any details. I can send messages on my Xbox One system with no problem.
It lets me know when I get a message, but I cant look at it. It wont let me refresh my other messages.

try resetting your xbox by holding the power button for 15 seconds if does not work try unplugging it then if that does not work delete your account then put it back on if you know the info-. Hope i helped

Same problem here it wont let me play Voice messages, wont let me send messages or join parties. Hopefully it will be fixed soon
