No it has not happened to any controller I have had. Just the Elite Series 2 new Xbox controller I had just got.

Is it true regarding the xbox elite series 2 being halted in terms of manufacturing and dispatching due to Microsoft performing a hardware revision due to the amount of errors and problems occurring for users
and owners of this controller

When will all these problems such as stick drift and buttons not work after a month or 2 be resolved and when will the next model be released that isnt a beta

I purchased my Elite Series 2 specifically for the Bluetooth connectivity to my PC since I've got an xbox One X and have moved over primarily to PC Gaming...I wanted to connect wirelessly to my PC and it connects just fine. But when I start playing a game
it FREQUENTLY disconnects repeatedly and reconnects until one time it just won't reconnect in the middle of the game so I'm FORCED to play purely wired if I want stability with the $180 controller. I've already got EVERYTHING up to date in my PC and I literally
mean everything. The controller firmware is updated as well.

I've also already been through a warranty exchange once.

I too got an xbox wireless elite series 2 controller 2 days ago and i dont have the firmware update here. i never had this issue with my older controller. some ppl got to rectify it by connecting it to their xbox while others just rerturned it. I am close to returning mine, since my old xbox does a better job

My controller just recv'd an update about a month ago. Just bought a pc and connected controller which works perfectly however I am unable to configure my controller due to the "app not supporting my firmware on my controller"? Im a little confused. It's an xbox elite series 2 controller so how does the app not support it?

There was a new update released, can you try updating your Elite Series 2 controller again?

I also have the Elite Series 2 controller and I do not run into these issues when using it with the PC.
