Discus and support I just finished migrating my Mojang account to my Microsoft account but its as if I don't... in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; The button in the launcher says "Play Demo", even thought I owned a copy of Java Edition before the migration, not to mention Bedrock Edition.     I just finished migrating my Mojang account to my Microsoft account but its as if I don't...


    The button in the launcher says "Play Demo", even thought I owned a copy of Java Edition before the migration, not to mention Bedrock Edition. Help please, I already tried the Removing the account and Logging in again with my Microsoft account and its still the same. Help please.

    Hello karui09, try deleting the Minecraft launcher, then make sure your PC has the latest version of Windows installed.

    See which version of Windows 10 you have

    Updates often seen as optional, Microsoft released major fixes this week, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

    After that, restart your computer and download the launcher from the Microsoft website

    Hello again, the problem has been solved. I was instructed to install an older version of the Minecraft launcher and log-in through that. It worked.

    I'm having a similar problem. After migrating my Mojang account to a Microsoft account, when I attempt to login using the Microsoft credentials, it shows up as a non-paid / demo account. I don't want to have to buy the game again. I wonder if it is possible the account was migrated to a different Microsoft account than the one I am using, but Mojang support cannot address that. I would love to be able to lookup what account name/email address my old Mojang account was migrated to.
