I just bought a 2 year Xbox live membershi form Costco and it said sorry, an unsuspected error

Finally fixed my problem. Here are the steps I used for resolution, after owning an xbox from the first model and the XB Live beta:

1. Returned my console to Costco.

2. Sold all XB1 games and accessories on Craigslist.

3. Bought PS4 from Costco.

COSTCO...2 years on all electronics

So I was just trying to find some more solutions on google, and one forum I came across said that it's a hardware error in the xbox itself. I bought my xbox through Costco, so I am able to exchange mine for a new one at any point. Tomorrow, I will go and
get a new one to see if that's the problem. I'll let you guys know if it is

i was gonna check my account to see exact dates of when i purchased gold membership, but I know i bought a 2 year membership, and when this hapened before, i think i remember it saying that it was good thru the end of this year..but I cant check for sure
because my account info wont pull up here on xbox.com or on console..I have a credit card on file with xbox live and with netflix..(my netflix account is monthy auto pay). I don't know what's going on, but I know my membershi is still good on xbox live and
it sucks that I cant access anything..my autistic son watches a lot of netflix everyday, and he's been without it for 2 days. wish they'd figure out this issue with my account!
